North American Orienteering Championships

Welcome to the website of the 2028 Canadian Orienteering Festival featuring the North American Orienteering Championships  - hosted by the Foothills Wanderers Orienteering Club (FWOC) in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. 

The dates and locations of the event have not yet been confirmed. The dates we are currently considering are Aug 11-20, 2028. This event showcases orienteering across a beautiful range of landscapes — from the mountains, to the city, to the prairies.

March 2026: Orienteering Canada has officially approved FWOC as the host club of the 2028 North American Orienteering Championships. Read the announcement.
